The Tanne Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2008 awards. Now in its tenth year, the foundation has awarded almost a half-million dollars to individual artists and artist-run organizations.

In keeping with the foundation’s mission to support individual artists with unrestricted funds, this year’s awards, totaling $21,000, honor two artists for outstanding artistic achievements and recognize an outstanding arts organization for its presentation of exceptional work for over 30 years.
