Ginelle van Tartwijk is a member of GMA’s family philanthropy consulting practice and staff to GMA’s foundation services clients.
In her work with multi-generational family foundations, Ginelle has helped develop focused grantmaking portfolios and create new grantmaking initiatives, helped facilitate virtual strategic planning retreats, and assisted in grant portfolio reviews to prepare for a shift in grantmaking focus. She is a Certified Advisor with 2164.net and fluent in the 21/64 approach.
As a program associate at GMA, Ginelle provides administrative and grantmaking assistance on an ongoing basis to eight client foundations, primarily focused on women and children, health, artists, and environmental projects, both in the Boston Area and worldwide.
Originally from the Netherlands, Ginelle studied sociology, international law, and international relations, with a particular interest in human rights, at the University College Roosevelt in the Netherlands. She previously worked at the Roosevelt Foundation in the Netherlands and the Benedict Silverman Foundation in Connecticut.
