Judy Sneath, GMA’s Director of Communications, is responsible for planning and leading an effective communications effort, designed to bring us closer to our clients, to the philanthropic community, and to one another. She supports our staff members in their work and has shaped our series of lunch conversations with nonprofit leaders.
Judy is a member of the Public Policy Committee of Associated Grant Makers. She currently serves on a Route 3A Task Force in the Town of Hingham and she served as an elected member of the Planning Board there from 2006-2017. Prior to joining GMA in January of 2012, Judy was the Executive Director of the Hingham Downtown Association, where she worked closely with small businesses, civic groups, and the local and state government to strengthen this historic downtown’s role as a commercial and civic center.
Judy holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BA from Wellesley College. Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Judy is fluent in Spanish and now rows in the colder waters of Hingham Harbor.
