Pamela Maksy provides customized accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative services for GMA’s client foundations. Pamela specializes in helping GMA’s clients achieve their philanthropic goals by working with them to plan and manage their annual distributions for maximum impact. She also assists clients in establishing operating and grant budgets, setting up internal procedures and controls, managing annual audits, drafting annual financial statements, and review of federal and state tax returns.
Pamela conducts group workshops as well as one on one consultations with grantmakers to teach them how to analyze nonprofit financial statements and tax returns.
Pamela joined GMA Foundations in 1998. Prior to joining GMA, Pamela served as the school to work coordinator in her community and also served as Chair of the Board of Selectman. Pamela has continued to pursue her interest in local politics by managing and working on local campaigns. Pamela is a cum laude graduate of College of the Holy Cross, where she was inducted as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
